What is on the table

We kept the spirit of tabletop role-playing and added the comfort of a video game. The rules stay the same, the story changes every time.

A live narrator
One player at the table becomes the narrator: they set the scene, voice the characters and decide the checks and battles. The engine applies the rules and rolls the dice, so the narrator can focus on the story.
Parties of up to six
Play at the same table with your friends. If someone leaves, a bot takes over their character until they come back.
Dice rolled on the server
Every roll happens on the server and is written to the log. Nobody can change a result.
Quick play
Short on time? Jump into a one-shot dungeon that ends in 20 to 30 minutes. Longer campaigns are waiting too.
Familiar rules
The game is built on SRD 5.2, the openly licensed core of the fifth edition rules. Dice and classes you already know.
Settings for everyone
Text size, color blind modes, reduced motion and narrated audio with subtitles. Works on phones and computers.

How to play

Your first roll is only a few minutes away.

  1. Pick your hero

    Choose one of twelve classes or start right away with a ready-made hero.

  2. Build your party

    Invite friends with a link or fill the empty seats with bots.

  3. Roll the dice

    Move on the grid, attack, cast spells. Your decisions change the story.

  • The Ash Crown: The Salt Marsh

    The second chapter of the Ash Crown campaign is here. A sunken monastery, a bell that has rung for a hundred years and the grey cloaks. Your choices from chapter one come with you.

  • A story that remembers

    Letters, orders and stone inscriptions you find appear in the story as real documents. At the end of a chapter you see your choices, and the next chapter remembers them.

  • The SRD 5.2 encyclopedia

    Spells, classes, monsters and rules in Turkish, English and German in one place. The page of a monster you meet for the first time is one click away in the game.

  • Achievements and the weekly dungeon

    Your profile holds 28 achievements and the journeys of your heroes. Every week everyone plays the same dungeon with the same party, and the fastest clears make the leaderboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ejderha free?

Yes, you can play in your browser for free. Creating an account is free too.

Can I play with my friends?

Yes. Up to six people can play at the same table. Bots can fill any empty seats.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Ejderha runs directly in a modern browser. iOS and Android apps are coming later and your account will work there too.

Do I need to know Dungeons & Dragons?

No. The game applies the rules for you and shows what you can do at every step. If you know the rules, you will find a familiar system.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 13 to create an account. The game contains fantasy violence but no gore.

Is my data safe?

Your password is stored with one-way hashing, secrets are kept encrypted and you can turn on two-step verification. You can download all your data or delete your account at any time.
